The San Francisco Daily Morning Call, July 30, 1864

THE SINKING SHIP DESERTED. - Not very long ago, Mr. Barron, owned two hundred and forty feet I the Gould & Curry, and Andrew McCrary owned one hundred and thirty. When the dividend for this month was declared, Mr. Barron's name appeared on the pay-roll for only fourteen feet, and Mr. McCrary's for only ten. The big fish have all departed for deeper waters.
