OH, FITZ SMYTHE!

Fitz Smythe does certainly make some of the most reckless statements we ever heard of. In Saturday's Alta he comes out with a frosty effrontry and avers that he has seen something which made him blush! This is simiply absurd. If the proprietors of that paper desire that it should retain any respectability in the community, they had better see that in future, their reporter does not try to palm off upon the public as truths, statements which are manifestly nothing more than the emanations of a disordered fancy.
