SAY THERE, NOW!

The Mercury copies "Mark Twain's" facetious notes on "the Pioneer Ball" from the Enterprise, giving no credit to that paper. This is not the fair thing. The Enterprise pays its contributors, and we suspect that "Mark Twain" is one of the "high-priced" Bohemians who decline to write for six bits per column. Under the circumstances, we think it no more than decent that those who copy paid contributions to other papers should at least give said papers the usual credit therefor.
