EPITAPHS

Death is the starlit strip between the companionship of yesterday and the reunion of tomorrow.

To the loving memory of my father and my husband.
CCG 1957

Epitaph on grave marker erected to Mark Twain & his son-in-law Ossip Gabrilowitsch by his daughter Clara Clemens Gabrilowitsch

Epitaphs are cheap, and they do a poor chap a world of good after he is dead, especially if he had hard luck while he was alive. I wish they were used more.
